Profitable ("profitable.app", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign up via a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive your basic profile information from that provider.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Creem ("creem.io"). We do not store your credit card details or payment information. Creem handles all payment processing, billing, and sales tax collection. Please refer to Creem's privacy policy for how they handle your payment data.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the Service. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal information.

MCP Server and AI Assistant Usage

If you use our MCP server or AI assistant, we log query counts and timestamps for rate limiting and usage tracking. We do not log the content of your queries or conversations.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process your subscription and manage your account
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing, etc.)
  • Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
  • Improve the Service based on usage patterns

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Creem (creem.io) — our merchant of record, for payment processing
  • Infrastructure providers — hosting and database services necessary to operate the Service

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our analytics tool (Umami) is cookie-free.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Anonymous usage analytics are retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data we hold
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and personal data
  • Export your data in a portable format

8. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed API keys, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
